Through the bullsh*ttery of our (previous) incompetent governments, that FAL is a prohibited firearm. Only for those who had prohibs before '95.

LMAO i almost got excited for a second... But honestly This rifle is PROHIB ??? Why ? wtf is the difference between the XCR-M or the RFB same sh*t no ?
 
I had an 8L series, ex OPP FN C1A1, it was beautiful, but I saw the writing on the wall and sold it. That and a NM M1 Garand in minty condition are the only two "rifle" regrets in my life :(
 
We'll have to see. It's a prohib but there is a push to scrap the prohib and restricted lists altogether and class all firearms past, present and future according to existing criteria.

Converted autos would still be prohib. A semi-only version would have to be produced. The likelihood of successfully changing the law to that effect, and the likelihood of new semi-auto only versions making it to Canada with Canada-friendly barrels is questionable at best though.
 
remember, some converted autos were UNRESTRICTED before c-68 , so it's not like the precedent doesn't exist -it was only certain long converted autos that were RESTRICTED under the old system- the fn for instance, was a restricted; however, the real m14 was not; i'm not sure of the previous listing of the g3-

They didn't exist at the time of the ban, otherwise they'd be prohib too.
 
seriously our laws are so stupid why the fawk a fal semi auto with 5 rounds is supposed to be more dangerous/has to be prohibited more than a ar15 with 5 rounds semi auto too?

same as semi auto Kriss super V vs Umarex .22 rimfire(mp5 semi.22lr)

I wanted to have this rifle but i guess i should forget about this.. will go to florida this winter to shoot the real deal. FULL AUTOS ONLY..
