The formidible Colt Walker

baldman...thanks for the pics, great looking guns how about a range report after you take it out shooting. I would be interested in knowing how the Walker performed.

Cimarron basically imports the uberti firearms. Some say they are the upper quality line from Uberti but from what I can tell from the Cimarron Walker and the Uberti new army they are both very good quality builds. I will definitely post the range report as soon as I get a chance to get to the range. Now I just have to find a nice holster for the Walker.

When you find the holster you will have to find a horse and the proper saddle to put it on. The Walker is not a belt pistol, it is a horse pistol.
BTW: I have fired a couple of walker replicas and have handled a real Walker. This was in the early 1970s and the Walker was priced at $1700.00 - about half the price of a new car at the time.
1851 colt originals were selling from $50.00 to $250.00 depending on condition. I purchased a brand new brass frame 1851 for $29.00 from Earnie at Klondike. and later a couple of 1862 Navies
for $100.00 (both Uberti's).
The Uberti Walker Replica was about $175.00 and that was more than a weeks wages.
