The four seasons?

Ok, duck seasons coming to a close (ponds freezing up), coyote season is starting up already, summer is for gophers...what about the spring season?

So what do the rest of you do in the spring? Or is this the time to go back to work (if you still have a job after all the hunting ) Any critters out worth going after?

bears here in BC

Dec-March = coyotes/wolves
April = load development/range time
May-June = Spring Bear
July = range time
August = northern sheep, elk, moose
Sept-Nov = deer, moose, elk, geese, ducks, grouse, etc etc

we get to hunt turkeys here in ontario. one day they may reopen the spring bear season

Gopher shooting is at its best in the spring just as the snow melts... mid April to mid May. How about hunting some crows, shotgun or varmint rifle.

for me spring is for travelling, working on the farm, looking for a colour phase black bear or a bearded turkey.

Spring - Bear, Snow Geese, Wild Turkey, Ground Squirrels
Summer - Ground Squirrels
Fall - Waterfowl, Deer, Wild Turkey, Bear, Moose, Elk
Winter - Caribou, Wolf, Coyote, Fox, Bobcat, Lynx etc, Trapping

All Year Round - Crows, Squirrels, Rabbits
