What is lame about a .22lr g36 clone contracted by Walther?

I mean... I like it.... but I guess your nomad kit 10/22 isn't as cool now....

Sure I would love a real G36... but that doesn't mean I dislike the rim fire option for the Canadian market.
 
The .22 LR Walther clone is a pale imitation of the real thing in my opinion, which makes it "lame" in my view. Opinions obviously vary, which is great. It's all good, as there's no "right answer" here...
 
Can someone look up FRT #178923 ?

There's rumours that it's the FRT number for the Stag 10 and that it's NR.

I have no first hand knowledge of this. It's only what I read on the Internet.

Some clarification would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
 
Arms East has a big thread in their subforum about these. Very nice looking rifles. The Stag-10 in 6.5cm for just over $2200. Supposed to land at the end of the summer.
