I had to deal with a black bear trying to get in my patio door at midnight a couple years ago. Ever try and shoot a black bear in the dark? I now have a gun with a flashlight mount! And the rifle being shown off in this thread would be perfect for anyone that lives where situations like that can happen. Would also be a great gift for the gf.

That's a home defence scenario....... Not a hunting scenario...... And shooting a bear at 5 yards in your home is very different from long range shooting as per the op's post....... And what his gf is looking for......

Oh and for the op, every once in a while a savage bvss in .223 will come up in the precision ee. Laminate, stainless 1:9 twist they're pretty nice and shoot very well.

I have no interest in starting this thread down a bad path and getting infracted....... All I will say is that I own an 870 with a flashlight on it..... I keep it handy in the closet and have since I lived in the sticks...... But it certainly isn't a hunting and sporting arm as per the header of this section...... So I wouldn't post a picture of it in here.......

Not calling you out, but lighten up, we are just having some fun...... Which is why we are all here in the first place no?
