Update... I got it for $845 shipped, should be here Friday! Now I am looking into optics.... That is an even harder mess to navigate.... So far I am interested in the calibrated Nikkon m223 for her...

Calibrated reticle only good for 55gr ammo for the Nikon. Use circles at different marks for aiming. Nothing to judge windage. Nikon makes good scopes but reticles could be better.

. Have a look at Leopold mark ar series of scopes. They are calibrated but on the dial for 55gr. Have traditional mildot reticle and mils for adjustments.

You were planning on shooting longer ranges so having a reticle that you can judge windage comes into play.

Yeah, just did some more looking into the m223 and it does not come up super well. I will look into your recommendation, thanks!
