H2O,

NICE! I notice your missing a few that I thought I saw on the M-14 forums.

Thanks :)

There are a few missing from this group shot and I'm picking up another one tomorrow :D :dancingbanana:

I'll post updated family pictures after I get my TROY stocks...

Bitterman- I got a Leupold Mark IV 3-9x36 Tactical Milling Reticle on an ARMS #18 mount. It was pricey (1500$) but is a work of art. Now I'm just waiting for that beautiful Troy Sopmod stock that is shown on another thread on here. Did you order a P&D SOCOM?

Although it is a bit more dressed up now .. this is my baby after being built by one of the best M305 guys in the West .. our own CGN Savage. This scout has minimal USGI swap outs .. super tight chamber (6 thou over SAAMI specs) great shooter! Can't thank you enough Savage! Well worth the wait.

here's mine...not sure why we are all posting here when there is tons of pics of m14's in the photo area, but whatev, everyone likes to show off their setup again. (my sister was nice enough to paint the punisher logo on here for me)

what kind of accuracy do you guys get out of your heavily modified M14s? what about the lightly modified rifles with the gas shims and such?

I do have a plain jane Norinco m14 with a 5 round mag. Once i get a 5-20 rounder I'll post some pics.

Lets take a trip down memory lane..................;)

My Ex-K.I.S.S. shorty:

With FAKE Smith suppressor:

My Ex-Custom built (by moi :D ) SAGE EBR

This had one of the three S.E.I (Smith) CrazyHorse 22" Med barrels that were in Canada(at that time):D

Pre-SAGE stock, But with an authentic KAC M14 RAS rail....

But sadly I own no more M14s.........................Traded the SAGE EBR for a SIG PE-90 Green Classic & accessories.......

Maybe one day I will build another shorty.......

Here is my US GI stock with Krylon brown (close to the original colour) It looks kind of boring but thats the way I like it since I'm unsure of my camo ability and I want it to look stock GI. It took me about 3 days of filling and sanding to get the selector and the disconnect filled perfectly but now it looks like it was purchased like that - no evidance of filling at all. I even matched the side groves in the top of the stock with a small file.

It's an old picture, but it will show you some of what I have laying around.

From L > R
1. Crazy Horse MK14 SEI in a 1 of 25 EBR built on a Springfield receiver - this SAI receiver will be swapped out for a Norinco receiver very soon.
2. 100% ChiCom Heel stamped Polytech in Chu wood
3. Side stamped Poly with many USGI parts including the birch stock.
4. Heel stamped Norinco in a naked 1 of 25 EBR.
5. MK14 SEI built on a heel stamped Norinco - this action is now installed in a Navy Seal CQB stock pictured below.

I just shipped off the black chop mod chassis (#5) and will continue to work on an improved fixed stock EBR.

Now there's a man who likes his 14's!:)

You know for a "Battle Rifle", the SAGE stocked M14s look better with the AR-15 stock & grip adaptors...........;)

Too bad they do a good imitation of a boat anchor......:p ;) :D
