The Greatest Sporting Rifle of All Time

Nice rifles here.

Here is a small ring kar98 Mauser in 270 Winchester. Weighs just over 7lbs scoped, it has a very nice thin wrist old school schnabel stock. I'd like to get a nicer trigger for it. It's crazy accurate with factory Remington 130 corelokts

The Daton triggers are not too bad, require the least inletting. You should also grab a Timney safety for that sucker too.

She’s a beauty  Probably carries like a dream and swings up the same, nice stock lines.

Ah, winter on CGN...

Glad to see we got to the right answer quickly on this thread...

- Just kidding, though my vote is with the M98. Great pictures and beautiful rifles.

Likewise, nice collection, especially if a .270 lies amongst them. ;)

Your Mausers are very nice especially the first one. The barrel and site really set it off.

The 4 pre-64 M70's are my hunting rifles, they're all featherweights. The first one is 270, 308. 30-06 and 243.

Mauser action for me. I own push feed actions ( savage, rem) lever action ( marlins) but my go to are Mauser based hunting rifles. 300wm 2-308s and a 30-06. When heading out hunting 9/10 times I grab a mauser
