Reading id64's thread here about his now/old Beretta 92F got me reminiscing about other older Berettas--specifically one of my favourites, the 93R machine pistol. I always thought it would be so cool to have a semi-auto version of it--what with its sleek lines, clean slide, and ported barrel. If I had my way I'd keep the single action only, but change the selector into a frame-mounted safety, and I'd also lose the forward grip. As a duty pistol it would be of course impractical, but for range fun it would be awesome! I whipped up a quick photoshop of what my dream Beretta would look like...any others with me?
