The gun of Gaddafi

by the video I saw he was very much alive and kicking without a hole in the side of his head one minute and then the next video he had gotten one in one side and out the other... not a pretty site, the random shooter in the crowd theory seems pretty plausible since the entire crowd wanted a piece of him in the first video

I like how the guy has his finger on the trigger and other plugging the muzzle with a round in the chamber, hope no one bumped him, or he'd be picking his nose with his middle finger. These guys have no gun etiquette at all and the wrong guy never gets shot, what's with that?

I guess he hadn't heard that those Hi-Powers are completely obsolete now. WWII technology you know!

Just my opinion.....but i have carried both on Operations overseas....I'll take the 226 over the HP anyday.

i have to agree with you. the BHPs in the system are beyond their primes. comparatively though they would be about the same effectiveness if they were in the same condition. I'd go with the sig though. plus i really hate that magazine safety thing on the HPs. But i know people who love the BHPs.

as for gadafis gun: sweet. hope it lands in a museum instead of some jerkoff's private safe.

Thats a Browning factory Renaissance pattern engraving with gold plating. Nothing too fancy or expensive. Cheaper then most non-engraved high end guns. I expected something fancier (and more gaudy) from a billionaire dictator. At least Sadam went all up-to-date and tactical with a Glock 18. :D

Two years ago, I got a quote from Danielle at Wolverine Supplies for a brand new Renaissance Hi-Power Argent from the Browning custom shop in Belgium. She quoted me $7800 and two years waiting time. Not exactly on the cheap side!!
