I seem to be buying and selling frequently, trying different models and such. I gave me an idea for a thread.

What gun would you never sell no matter what?

This is mine. Smith and Wessom 17-3

My dad bought it new in the mid seventies. I have the box, original grips, tools, S&W wax paper and even the receipt (he paid $175)

I don't think it has 250 rounds throught it.

It would be interesting to see what everyone else cherishes.

My winchester 1955 Model 88. Well used, but my first gun and got me my first deer. Hopefully it'll be the gun my son gets his first deer with.

I have 2…
1. 1968 "T" series Browning Hi-Power my father bought BNIB from Sole's Sporting Goods (across from the Eaton's Center….remember?)
2. S&W 625 45ACP.
My son's getting both when I'm done…..

I have no interest in selling any of my guns at the present time, and in 35 years I've sold only 2. The time may come when I'll have to sell, and I hope that time doesn't come soon. This one would probably be the last to go-.50AE Desert Eagle, one bad ass firearm, and I love it.

Coulda swore this was a pistol thread. Large pistols people are fond of.....Someone should start a similar thread for long guns....never mind...all the pistol guys would post...:rolleyes:

My bad. Sorry. I didn't notice which section the post was in.

My Henry 22. Partly because my wife bought it for me, partly because all my kids like it, a lot because I love to shoot it... but mostly because what in the hell am I going to do with 10,000 rounds of 22lr if I sell it?!?!
