Got mine today. I noticed the off-center mid-bead. Not as bad as I was expecting. One small scratch on the forend checkering. Very minute scratches, barely visible on the finish. Milled-out brand on the receiver is the only heavily visible imperfection. Overall, good deal considering the price. Next step, find range time to try this toy.
 
I was hoping to find a clearer copy of the exploded view in the user manual. But the manual that came with this o/u is so tiny. Even zooming in after a scan will only result in further pixelization. Anyone who might have a clearer and bigger copy of the exploded view for a better reference.

Looking further at markings, I found "CATMA" between the forend lug and lower barrel part of the chamber. It must have been re-branded by the Canadian Distributor. It somewhat resembles Model 505 MI except for the receiver finish (to be cost competitive). Checkering is identical. And, exploded view is more detailed. Another thing I noticed, if you shake the gun up and down, you will hear a small rattle. I am thinking that this is the cocking lug. Remove the barrel from the receiver, you will see a flat bar at the bottom of the receiver. Shake the receiver up and down, you will see this part moving in and out, also by pushing it in and out by a finger. Big deal? An issue? Not sure yet.

Finally had a chance to hit the range this morning. Decent pattern. This will improve as I get used to sight and control. Trigger is on the heavy side. Only time will answer the question of reliability. For the price? Can’t beat it. Overall, a good deal.
