The handgun that you MOST wanted but you can't buy

Hey tenexx,
Good idea on the ASP Pistol. That would be a very unique piece.

My choice: a full house gun from L.A. Vickers Custom, which is (was) Larry Vickers' pistolsmithing business. Actually, two of them would be better: one to shoot and one to keep as an investment piece.

If I ever lose my mind and decide to sell it, I will PM you first.

Yes, in fact of all the blued 5.5" Redhawks ever made, I would particularly like that one, because I believe I saw it before you did. Bought it from the original owner who had never fired it and was selling a few because he realised he was getting old and wasn't going to be shooting much? I lost my head and let financial prudence have its way, and there you were. I am glad it has a good home, and appreciate you remembering me.

Another Holy Grail, the 5 inch H.H. Harris Co S&W Model 29.

There's something "just right" aesthetically about a 5-inch N Frame. Sure, you can get a 629 with a 5" barrel, but it has the full underlug. One of these days, I'm going to pick up another Model 29 to have the barrel shortened to 5".

Let's see - I'd like my Bodyguard Airweight back, but can't be trusted with it now that I'm older (had one when I was 22), a 442 Centenial Airweight would be nice, oh and something along the lines of an Officers Model.
