i seen this gun on miami vice and it is quoted as a car-15 9mm. but whats up with the mag and the scope thing ontop? is it just movie prop stuff?

Radar gun for speeding. If they catch you 20 over the limit, they blow out your tires right then and there. :D

back in the day laser pointers required a ton of energy to work hence why terminator had one bigger than his gun... I assume that is a laser pointer judging from his friends 80's perm

I always liked the "XM-18E1R" off of the movie Dogs of War with Christopher Walken. (Great Movie!) It was just a fancy flare gun. But when I saw that as a kid I wanted one. I thought it was awesome. lol

Remember the 1986 movie Cobra starring Stallone? Lasers back then were huge, and CR123 lithium batteries didn't exist.

Funny story, I was reading a book about Delta Force and a POW rescue they planned during the Vietnam war, and in the book they mentioned taping big ass D or C cell Maglites onto their CAR-15's. Imagine the front end weight!!

Sweet laser!

I tried to see that in the movie theatre, but the dicks won't let me in. They said I was too young and my grandpa was too old.

You do know that CR123 are common camera batteries, right?

Anyway, giant laser as others have said. It's also not 9mm, it's sporting a MWG 90 rd mag for 5.56mm.
