I had a chance to finally take the pistol to the range with my Dad today. Conditions were less than ideal--just above freezing with a brisk wind, which was disappointing considering we had 28° C weather two days ago!
The P9S did not disappoint, though. As I was hoping, the lightweight slide made for pleasantly light felt recoil, and combined with the very light and super crisp trigger pull made for some very quick follow up shots. Unfortunately, all I had on hand was old surplus NATO spec 124 grain ammo so I was not expecting super accuracy but the pistol surprised me. Even though I had not been out shooting in two months I was pleased with how easy it was to shoot the pistol accurately.
Here's my first five rounds at 20m:
Here are the next ten, again at 20m. I was really pleased considering how out of practice I was!
