How is their quality? Some of their stuff seems pretty good. Do they have a Canadian retailer?

Most of their stuff is really good. They also go by the the trade name TDI on their products. The Shooting Edge in Calgary is well stocked with TDI products (you'll pay a premium), also Fab Sports (fabsports.ca) carries product as well. :)

It's all EXCELLENT! Great products; fantastic value for the quality. Their service is top-notch as well. I can't say enough good things about Command Arms.

Plastic is subpar, when you compare it to Tango Down or Magpul. There designs seems to be thoughtout by someone without a lot of time using a carbine or rifle.

I guess in the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king. BUT if you can get other manufactures...

What he says is true, but when the logistics of a civilian buyer come into the equation, then the CA stuff makes more sense. The Tango, and Magpul stuff is indeed nice, but it's way more expensive too, and a civilian shooter is not going to use their rifle in war (Even still, the CA stuff does get used operationally, and it holds up just fine too!) It's the cost vs. need thing-as always-and Command Arms will do everything those more expensive brands will do to about a 90% level, and it will do it at a fraction of the price. Since you're not taking your stuff to WAR, and even if you were, the CA stuff fits the bill just fine. No, it's not a Fararri, but you don't need one when a Porche will work just fine at half the cost. It's WAY better than the TAPCO stuff, and costs the same, and I've seen TAPCO stuff used in hot-spots where lives depended on it. What does that tell ya?

Right up until it breaks in the middle of a match. Been there. Now I stick to better brands. Bench shooting, plinking, OK. But anything that gets used even a little bit hard, Magpul / TD / etc. And the designs are better - note how well the TD MK46K fits the hand - which helps things along.

MR. RR:

Hang on there a bit. I think your taking what Kevin Said out of Context.

I beleive a more accurate way of looking at what was said is as follows:

......... It's WAY better than the TAPCO stuff, and costs the same, and I've seen TAPCO stuff used in hot-spots where lives depended on it. What does that tell ya?

People are stupid...

Kevin can look after himself, however I hate to see a Pissing contest develop over nothing.

At the end of the day I must agree, If my life depended on it, I would buy the best I could, or borrow to do so.

However, regardless of what you shooting situation is, get out there and dint as many primers as you can, take some courses, gain some knowledge and expreince. While doing so, I encourage you to put every dam notion put out there by KevinB, Kato911 and others, and either prove or disprove it for yourself.

Just my thoughts

respectfully yours

Ahh, the slavish fan-boys have made their move. I am put to shame by their alliance! Then again, I own these products. I stand behind what I say, and I don't need a "Daddy" figure to tell you what I think. I'm a free man, and a man with a backbone. I don't care what a man has done in his past; I judge men by their intelligence, self-reliance, and patience. Patient, intelligent, self-reliant men do not patronize, or cop cool, after the conversation turns substantive. They just say what they know, back it up with what they have, and treat people as people. I'm here, I claim nothing but what I know first hand, and I know that Command Arms sells a reliable, well built product. Take it for what you will, or believe the click; your choice.

Yawn, your post is meaningless, Magpul stuff isnt that pricey so what do you get by saving only a few dollars? Whats next advocating using airsoft replica crap...because its cheap to?

I've laid myself bare. I've said what I said and I stand behind my claim. Where is your honor in place of cheap ploy? Say something, don't brown nose; be your own man for crying out loud! Try to lead from the front, instead of commanding from the rear!

P.S. Supra, I've never told you BS when you asked me for information. I'm not BS'ing you now. I talk a lot of sh*t, but only when it doesn't mean sh*t. Just because I've questioned these guys "GOD" doesn't mean I'm not dependable when it counts. It just means that these guys are "followers" not "individuals." I'm not lying to you, and I don't work for CA.

Supra, for stuff like grips and other plastic bits get Magpul as they arent that expensive in the long run anyways. I have seen cheaper stuff made out of plastic that has been broken and the range. So what do you save if you buy it twice? Theres plenty of ways you can economize from the gun itself, but small stuff..why bother.
