I received my rear sight from Italy last week. It took only 2 and 1/2 weeks to get here. I have not installed it yet but it is in good shape and should be an improvement over the stock Norinco one.

Got mine today, in about aweek. These sights are superior to the USGI sights that I have. The windage actually works.

Just to recap the front site is for the long barrel version but doesn't work so well for the shorties?

Has anyone with a 2011 full length M14 installed these on their rifle? The reason I asl is because I tried installing an LRB bolt and it didn't fot on my 2011.

Just ordered a rear sight for my short barrel. Front sight looked much shorter in the pics than the stock norc sight.

rear sight, perfect. big improvement.

front sight, the base is longer on the sight than the rifle, so it overhangs at one end (aft if the screw is aft, fwd if the screw is fwd). The dovetail in the sight is larger than the base it mates on the flash suppressor, so it is very loose until you tighten the allen screw, not a tight slip fit like the original sight. I may try to pinch that in a bit in a vise for a better fit. The front sight is clearly for the long barrel, will not be tall enough for the shorty.

fit and finish is great, just like it should be from Beretta.

Didnt fit in what respect? Lapping the lugs may be required.

Thats what I ended up doing. Closed it up with a vice. Tightened the screw, backed it off and put it on the rifle. No issues.

13 days from Ordered to Delivered at my door. Not too bad for a small envelope from Italy. Quick to reply to emails too. Very happy with the quality of the rear sight.

Emailed roberto last night, been putting this off for too long. Seems like the only place to find these sights at a reasonable price.
