ha...another 284 bore lover.......I'm getting up there too...a 7-08, 280(2), 7SAUM and 7WSM.......should get another 7mm Rem Mag (probably the best of the 7's)and there's a Sako in 7RUM on the EE..........

Call me s slow learner. I've got a pretty decent 280Ackley, and think I've got the 7's covered.

Sounds like the same dilema I had with my spare 30-06. Decided to go with a 35 Whelen. Just finishing putting the pile of parts together before it all gets assembled.

Well...plans MAY have changed....

May have come across something a bit different and may just end up selling this gun once I get it.

Have someone who wants the scope already......will most likely list the gun in the EE once it arrives.....if anyone is lookin for a Stainless Syn in 30-06 just let me know....

If you decide to keep the rifle, and as you already have a barn full of .30/06's, consider a 9.3X62 or some version of the .375-06. Either of these cartridges will provide a solution to any requirement you might have for a powerful rifle.

Stupid question: What does AI mean at the end of the calibre? ie: 7-08AI?

Ackley Improved. Take a case and blow the shoulder up a bit and a 40 degree neck angle. Voila!! AI. Do a google search.
