-Replacement trigger and hammer pins precision manufactured in USA of grade 8.8 steel
Correct, grade 8.8 is a fastener standard for steel hardware.Umm... grade 8.8 steel. This is not a real thing. There is a Grade 8.8 fastener standard under ASTM F568M. A grade 8.8 fastener has to be made of Medium carbon steel; quenched and tempered. It also would have to be a threaded fastener with a hexagonal head or be a socket head cap screw or a graded threaded stud. There is no such thing as a grade 8.8 steel pin.
Perhaps your supplier gave you bad specification data? Presumably these pins are actually made of 1045 medium carbon steel, or possibly 4140 alloyed cro-moly steel?
Just saying... at least be accurate when posting specs to enthusiasts...

YouTuber Gnutzguy just published a video comparing the no drilling mount to a drilled mount originally buses on a VZ-58. He does have some concerns regarding the sideways can't from the mounting plate and how the no drill mount may have the pins unscrew with use.
He also describes how to test fit the parts and pre adjust the mount clip tensi outside the rifle, before installing the parts in the rifle.
Securing the pins with blue locktight would prevent loosening.
Did some sighting in today. The mount works as intended. I was able to sight in at 50 yards without issue. Here is a photo of where my dot ended up.

I ordered both optic and sight. I'm content with it, but seeing i could have gotten the kobra, which looks better and functions better in many ways, for the same price was a kick in the nuts for me.
Adapter plates are different, they are made specifically for each and not interchangeable. That being said you could just keep either Picatinny or Kobra attached to the adpater plate and just screw on/off![]()
Had my T81 lmg w/side rail out at a service rifle match this weekend. Definitely had to apply a lot of elevation to get this thing zeroed. I was thinking I might bottom out the elevation adjustment but I didn't in the end. I'm not sure how much is left but there probably isn't much.
The match was interesting - definitely a challenge taking 7.62x39 out to 500m in windy conditions. With a rough 500m zero, I managed 16/20 scoring hits and 18 on the screen at 500 with some copper washed Russian surplus. Definitely a more capable rifle with glass on top.
No idea how it'd compare to the M10x.
