I'm pretty sure the buffer tubes are commercial spec, not mil spec.
Awesome thank you!

Has anyone had any luck swapping the stock out?
I tried to put the MFT minimalist stock on and wasn't able to.
Hey Everyone. trying to find some info. What's the different between each of the 3 generations? Is there an easy way to tell what generation you have?
I had a gen one rifle and it had a few issues with FTFs and occasional FTEs (as well as the mag overinsertion problem). The JR Carbine website has videos on how to upgrade it (that's how I knew I had a gen one because it had none of the upgrades). I contacted JR for info on how to order the upgrades, they asked me for my serial number, determined it was an early build, and asked me to ship the rifle to them. A few weeks later I got the rifle back with all the upgrades (new bolt, buffer assembly, new barrel - threaded, others) for only the cost of shipping one way. Phenomenal customer service. The gun now runs 100%.
