Countries
China - Used by the Sichuan Police Department, Chongqing SWAT.
Iran - Used by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Infantry.
Thailand - Used by Royal Thai Naval Air and Coastal Defense Command.
Paraguay - Norinco CQ-5.56mm Type A adopted by the Special Forces
Syria - Some units of the Syrian Armed Forces have been reported as using the Norinco CQ. Possibly also in service with some government paramilitary formations.

CQ 5.56mm Type A assault carbine is the only Type CQ variant to be acknowledged of official uses with a regular Armed force, having been purchased in significant quantities by the DECEI (Destacamento Conjunto de Empleo Inmediato "Joint Quick Deployment Detachment") of the Paraguayan Army. A semi-automatic version of this carbine is available on the civilian market for sports shooters in Canada and in Italy.

Thats right folks, my Norinco has a proud linage of lineage of keeping people in line!

Sounds about right. They both have similar histories in conflict wouldn't you say.

I don't believe getting a AR is all about image.

I wanted a AR to hone my skills that I learnt on the army in a environment that is more calm. AR shooting takes skill, and not standing like a tit that thinks he's in a SWAT breach team shooting through red dots at paper OSBL's.

It takes skill to master firing positions at various ranges. It's not all about being a range toy and and all the politics involved. It's funny because we all :bigHug::bigHug::bigHug::bigHug::bigHug: or worth about how our AR's will be taken from us and then don't take time to just enjoy them. Stop talking about AR's and just shoot the bloody things!! Lol.

Life's to short to:

1. Give a :bigHug::bigHug::bigHug::bigHug: what people think of ANY firearm you have at the range
2. Worry about them being taken away, if they are going, they will go. Make the most of it.
3. Care about what rifle is better for what. Pick what you like and what suits you and work with it. You know pretty quickly if you don't like it.
4. Make threads that :bigHug::bigHug::bigHug::bigHug::bigHug: about mall ninjas. Let them be lol. It's no worse than some guys who make thier trucks rise 80ft off the floor or that dumbass at work who says knock knock in the doorway when he's already in the room.

Enjoy life and enjoy AR's. they are fun and skill testing firearms! :) don't fret about he future of them. There's no point!!

Just my two cents! And on that note, I'm off to pack up 500 AE .223 and my DPMS and go shooting tmro! Lol

hmmm there does't seem to be an option for :
