Nice Piece!

I shot one of our member's at the range a couple of weeks ago, he really likes the ease of take down on it unlike previous generations, have fun
 
The Mark series were not on my radar after watching a few videos on how to disassemble and clean them (newbie) I felt they were more complicated than I want for a first handgun. This one puts Ruger back on my list.

Your right Ruger MK 1 to MK lll are a real pain to take apart and clean. That has all changed now with the new MK IV series. As simple as pushing a button to separate the slide barrel and bolt from the main frame.
 
There is one complaint that I have about the new Ruger MK IV. When you purchase a fine piece like the Ruger MK IV Hunter, you would expect Ruger to ship the pistol in a nice case. They use a cardboard box.
 
Very nice buy, I would have take this model over competition but cant find it at many place and seem to be at least 200$+ more than the other hunter and competition model. Congratz !

I just bought a 3K Les Baer Custom 1911 and it came in a plain cardboard box. Not all nice guns come in nice cases.
