Here's my first 5 round group with my M24 at 100m. I'm pretty happy about it :)

"unmatched accuracy" lol. i'm pretty sure most rifles in the 5k price range will match or exceed the accuracy of a factory built Remington............ :|

Just by looking at the target this is a group of sub .5 MOA maybe close to .25 MOA, maybe a 5K rifle could match it certainly not exceed it.

These rifles are extremely rare. It is not a matter of cost, it is a matter of availability. We brought in 10 for the last batch. To my knowledge, only about 20 have ever entered Canada, most of them within the last 6 months. Might not look like much, but this is a no-nonsense tool that was built for war, and built for the US military under contract. Designed with accuracy at extreme range in mind, in the hands of a skilled shooter this will give a Cadex system a run for its money.

i my self would rather have the Tikka T3x ARCTIC which is the rifle the Canadian Rangers use in a different colored stock.

I want this LOL
but the wife is reminding me that we are saving for land in alaska and I want that more haha

An unrelated note to Wanstalls regarding their home page: under the Wanstalls Custom header it notes "Can't find what your looking for?" that should read "you're". A typo/incorrect use is one thing in a passing forum post, but another thing altogether on a website.

Did the same with the BC FA Academy and received a thank you but I guess it takes time to make these changes on websites.
I did check my 6/49 ticket just in case I needed one of these.

We would love to see your targets from your 5R that would exceed this. Or at least I would anyway. Do you have any to share?

I am really new into this precision rifle game so I don't want to weight in my opinion much on it.

But from the quality of the rifle stand point. I have spend quite a long time at the store and Wanstall was kind enough to bring me all the goodies to compare to the M24. This includes some of the best rifles in the store and I believe 5R was on the comparison bench at one point and after that 2 hrs comparison, M24 was a clear winner by miles. The quality of this rifle in fit and finish is just perfect. The barrel is noticeably more substantial. You can just feel the difference in material used. It as if this rifle is made in a different shop from other Remington bolt action (in matter of fact they are) I just very glad I got one.

And to be frankly honest..... I will never be able to out shoot most of these rifles anyway so I just get what I like.
