I went out yesterday, looking for a 4 point mulie. The only buck I saw had 2 points, no shoot.. It was an interesting stalk across a clearcut to get close enough to ID the bugger! Flushed lot's of grouse too as well as one pheasant. Did not see any bears or bear signs, damn.
Then I am driving an old loggind road and spot a cow moose in a clearcut. I go another kilometer and a big bull and a fork are looking at me like I'm an alien... Too bad fork/spikes only open on the 20th, he was 20 yards from the road and did not want to move...
I'll be back there in 4 sleeps, but of course he wno't be there! :lol:
