Finally!!!!! It all arrived. I have had the gun for some time and was waiting on the rest of the pieces. I am very happy with it so far. Just need to get it to the range now.

Remington 700LTR (from Epps)
TPS Aluminum base and rings (from ###)
Super Sniper 10x Side Focus (From somewhere)
Harris Bipod (Bass Pro I think)

FIRST, the gun, ain't she pretty!!!!

NEXT, a close up of the TPS rings and base. Nice fit with the low rings. Cheaper than most, but seem to be very well made. Still have to adjust for cant and eye relief, but had to put it all together for the photo shoot first.

Nice rifle! TPS rings are actually one of the best for the money; apparently Badger Ordnance and such companies make their stuff off-shore anyways, so all you end up paying for is the brand name.

Rohann, I can guarantee you that Badger is not made off shore. Have you ever heard of a "Little known rifle builder" by the name of George Gardner? He owns GA Precision. Badger Ordnance is in the same building he is and all thier stuff is made there.

Oh really? I heard that for some of their products at least, they don't manufacture them themselves.

Well, finally made it to the range with my LTR. Shot some cheap factory to get the shots on the paper and then tuned it in with some hand loads.

Had some really bad flyers and thought my handloading sucked, then I realized that my scope rings were loose on the base!!! Tightened those up and now I am really impressed with this thing.

Here are some pics of todays shoot.

Shot with:

700LTR .308
Merlin 10x42T Scope
Lapua Brass
Lapua Scenar HPBT 154gr bullets

The flyer on this one was right after I cleaned the barrel, the rest are in a nice 4 shot group. The target was scanned upside down.

This was one of the first ones after I realized the scope rings were loose on the base. Needless to say I was impressed with the performance after realizing my error.

Still some dialing in to do on the handloads, but for now I am quite impressed with this gun.

the Scenars like to be out as far as you can get them!!!(well just sbout touching the lands!)

there are 2.960COL in my LTR but they shoot like a house on fire !!

Ya, had them at 2.88 and they wouldn't fit in the mag. I am going to bring them back a bit and see if they still shoot well. If they do I will tweek the powder and try to get them a little tighter. The operator could use some more practice too!!!

All the parts are now in the hands of arwenace, who will assemble them and then refinish all the parts also, now the waiting game begins.
