The M14: A weekend project

Hello gun nutz!
My grandfather and I made it a project over this weekend to build and M14, and by George we've done it!
We started off with a civilian-issue M14 with a wood stock (which comes with steel plates to reinforce it) and put a fiberglass stock on instead, attatched a GI muzzle, a scope and a bipod, which turns our M14 into the first sniper of our collection. Here's a few pictures of the after product:

I have lots of fun with my norkie M14. So does my son and friend.
Of course.......they are better shots than I.

Haven't had a chance to test it out yet...we finished maybe an hour ago.
We'll definetly get to try it out when we sign up for a club here in Ottawa.

Now a nice desert camo pattern on that and you're ready for the end of the world.
(Oh, and a few 10 round mags from marstar for the AIA enfield)

Now that you've done the work, come to the M14 clinic in Smiths Falls at the end of August.

Must have been great to work with your grandfather. Enjoy every opportunity. Get him to tell you his stories, and stories about his parents and grandparents. Those memories are golden!

I'm still new to the M305 world. What scope mount is that and what do you think about it?
