The missus' birthday present

I am almost to the point of frustration, getting my wife into shooting again. Thirty years ago she had her own Springfield Armory 1911 semi customed that she shot in our club meets. That lasted a couple years and she's shown absolutely no interest since.

I have stopped inviting her to the range and just simply enjoy my range time. Works out for both of us.

A 10/22 would be appropriate for those "no particular occasion" kind of gifts. Like new tires for the motorcycles, a hunting vest or tickets to a show...

Armoredtrooper, you're right. A GF or spouse who takes an interest in the shooting sports, makes life a whole lot easier... that is, until she takes a special liking to one of your gun and calls it "hers".

That happened already. Thats why she owns a savage .223 and the ruger MkIII pistol. I wouldn't give her a used firearm, I bought her new ones.:dancingbanana: I just picked up a cabelas .22 scope for her rifle, mounted and boresighted it and showed her.. the smile said it all! I'm a very lucky and happy guy. pics to follow if I can ever figure out how to post 'em.
