Did much the same when i was 12, allowance, lawn cutting, christmas and birthdays every cent. Bought a Rem 572 Fieldmaster pump 22. Shot every cent i got my hands on, got pretty awesome with it. Never a drop of moisture allowed to sit on it. Cleaned it so much i rubbed a good deal of the blueing off it. One of those guns that is never for sale.

Hope it has decent sights. I had a lever 22 and removed the rear sight and slid a peep into the back slot. Would have put a tang sight on but could not find one. IMO a scope looks ....wrong...on a lever gun.

I have to say that I am not a fan of factory Browning sights. Skinner makes one that looks good. Williams - I am not sure about their version as it has a fair amount of negative reviews on Midway USA. What other options are there available?
