The most fun to shoot! Not the prettiest, the most fun?

My favorite rimfire to shoot is a CIL Anschutz 190 with aperture sights. The way it balances and the super crisp trigger make it so satisfying and enjoyable. The one I have the most fun with is a Mossberg 151M. It doesn't have a detachable mag, but it is so much better than current semi's that they aren't even close.

Most all .22's are fun to shoot.
Except when the dam auto loaders jam up that is.
Then its a pia when having to field strip and clean.
But, not having owned one for a number of years the CZ's do the job well.
The BLR was fun and accurate, but reloading would take precious time in the gopher patch so it didnt stay long in the stable.

Most fun: tough to decide between the Winchester 62A or 9422 in .22 mag as to which one makes the most smiles. There is certainly good reason for love of pumps and levers here :)

As far as which one gets shot the most- definitely the 69As with #80 aperture sights

My favorite for plinking are my TOZ 17's. They are a bit rough, but so am I in many respects. Great choices in this thread btw.

Ive been playing with these old girls lately and find them to be more fun than my new Anshutz MPR.
In order top to bottom
Mossberg 146ba tube fed bolt 1954-1958
Mossberg 42b mag fed bolt with 3 sights 1938-1941
Winchester 69a mag fed bolt 1955-1960
The 42b is the most accurate and has a 1.5lb trigger

I'm joining savagecanuck in the vintage Mossberg 22 camp, my favorite is my 151M-B semi. Accurate , never misfeeds on any ammo I've tried. Bang-Bang-bang 14 times in a row semi-auto is more fun than the 46Mb bolt action, but that one is just as accurate and reliable.

For me its my BSA Martini Model 12d (ca 1930-31) and Enfield No 8 (ca 1949), both 22's. Both will put allow me to 5 inside a dime at 50 yds on a good day.

I have a super cheap 10/22 that works really well for me. I won it for 1st place in a shooting competition and I prefer the light, cheap stock best. I've had several other models of nicer looking 10/22 and a SR-22...still prefer the cheapest one.
