Do they exsist or are they a creature of legend like the unicorns and yeti. I ordered a Savage mod 25 in 17HH last April and was told by my local dealer I should have it by the end of July. It is now almost Oct. and he still can't give me a delivery date. I told him to cancell the order but he said if and when it showed up he would just put it into stock and sell it if I didn't want it then. I told him I've bought brass, bullets, dies and powder for it already so I will have a rifle in this caliber but maybe not this model if others become availible before next gopher season. So back to my original question, anybody seen one in Canada yet.

Cabelas has them in store for a few weeks ago(the savage). Myself I am waiting for the cz to get here
Yep my brother bought one [Savage Model 25 Lightweight Varminter] in Cabelas in Saskatoon last Wed (Oct 17th).
They had two that had just came in...both sold at the same time, one to my brother and one to an older guy that had came in looking for one. I think that's all they had in stock.
