The (naked) truth about the GSG 1911 barrel bushing

that was almost 2 years ago lol! Ryan did hook me up.....and for free btw!

I usually surf the site by clicking on new posts.
Interesting thread titles get opened and I click on view first unread.
Which almost never takes me to an unread post, so I go back browsing
posts and reading some interesting ones. I don't look at the dates unless
there's an "exigent" reason.

And on top of that i sold the gun and decided to go with a Beretta 92FS .22 conversion kit. I know i will prb regret selling it though as it was an amazing gun

I got the new ZRTS kit from the website Yorg mentioned above, and it now comes with the super nice stainless steel bushing. I measured the tolerances, and the old GSG bushing/barrel was .068, and the new one has .003, the play is a little tight but it will wear in eventually.

I just received the kit from Hical (ZRTS Ultimate) and there is what I would say a fairly large amount of play between the alignment cone and the bushing. I haven't measured the actual tolerance, but it seems like it should be tighter than it is. Kinda strange, but I'm new to firearms so maybe it's fine.
