The new IWI X95 Rifle! (MAC Video)

Kind of want, I'd have to see what it looked like in Canadian nonrestricted guise though.

Non restricted wise the barrel would only be 2.5 inches longer and the but pad nice and skinny like the Israeli version. With the extended front hand guards the Americans have the extra 2.5 inches on the barrel wont look all that bad I think. Certainly not PS90 bad.

If a non restricted Canadian model looked like the Israeli version with a 18.5 inch barrel it would be terrible looking.

But alas its all pipe dreams thinking about obtaining one legally. :(

Initially I didn't like the Tavor found it ugly. But it grew on me and I came to appreciate it for what it is ergos grew on me. The X95 ugly as sin! one less buyer to compete with when she gets in.

Just wondering. Would the actual receiver of the X95 be exactly the same as the Tavor, since all those pins, barrel locks, take down pin, bolt, trigger be at the same place. Couldn't someone just bring in the X95 as a "kit" and use the Tavor's receiver?

i won't put too much weight on an 18 years old conscript experience.

I don't pretend to know what his experience is, but I know that Israel puts their conscripts through quite a bit, and would trust even their limited opinions over people who have either never touched it, or got to play with a few rounds at a Shot Show.

Based in what I see here, I like it more than I expected to... it won't be replacing my Tavor, but may be joining it.

I'm thinking the same thing. However, since we are talking about guns that aren't approved yet, I shot a CZ805 Bren in the states, and I would probably buy one of those first, were it available.

That's a ###y looking rifle.
