We will have to see what price they really comme in country.
Honestly here how I see it: I love my rfb, its my favorite firearm by far, it was expansive but I don't regret a single penny. The rfb stand alone in its field as a 308 bullpup, and wen it came out it was basically the only tactical non restricted 308 beside the m14.
The rdb is another story, 2500 $ dollars will get you a hell of a 223 , restricted or non restricted, with the xcr, acr, tavor, t97 , fs2000(with non restricted barrel), mr1 , vz 58 (223) , ps90 (non res. Barrel), hell even kel tec's own su16 and the pimp out mini14. All of this with out counting the rifle that may comme ahead or neer the same time as kel tec new offering: arx 100, mpar, mdr...
So for that look, frankly I love my rfb, but its not a perfect system, nor those it have sub moa/moa accuracy. For that reason unless the locking mechanism of the rdb is diffrent, gas system is simplified and accuracy is moa or close I can't see this rifle selling much at a 2000 $ us msrp. Lets not forget our situation here. At 2000 they probably aim to sell at 1750-1900 ish in the us, witch is 100-200 $ cheaper then there lead competition (tavor) that find but the rfb retails for 1880 $ and was seen for sale in the mid 1300 $ in the us. But us with our distributor msrp got jack 28% witch would mean a 2550 $ rdb. Personally unless it proved to be extraordinary I think it kigyt miss its marc.
I see myself paying 1500 $ to a big big maximum of 2000 $ but at 2000 $ I am not even shure I'd by it and if so not wen it comes out!
Anyhow it will still be interesting , its awsome to have all those non restricted choice, if it indeed comes with a non restricted barrel. Lets hope for a wiser price
