The new Savage 110 BA

Well it's new to me anyway. AFAIK it is not on store shelves just yet (here or in the US)

First I heard of it was in this months copy of American Shooter, after a little 'google'ing I found this little write up.....

The write up in American Rifleman is a little bit more lengthly and they have range data from several different manufactures ammunition.

I have never wanted a 338 Lapula chambered firearm...... Till Now

It is now offically added to my 'wish list'

I would say we should sticky a Savage 110 BA 338 thread just in the hopes of preventing the same threads from starting every two days but it sure hasn't worked with the "Can I import a scope from the US?" sticky in optics..... At least when they finally hit the shelves here, we will all know about it same day *LOL*

The only one I can find is chambered for 338 RUM or 338 Win. Mag., and only one model has it as an offering...... The XCR

AFAIK 338 RUM, 338 Win. mag & 338 Lapula are not the same round...... Please correct me if I am wrong.

They are all different rounds. WSS does not list the 700P 338LM on their website and even in-store, the guys might not know what you are talking about. They do have them or can order them though, you just have to find someone who knows what you are talking about.

No they are not the same round for sure, The Wholesales on the North side had one at the moment, is not the XCR, but the New remington MLR in 338lapua, give Kevin a call 780-477-3737 he will fill you with detail...
