I wonder what I could get if I told someone the stock was a Stevens upgrade and sold it to them? lol.
Nah, the Mossberg ATR is in a class all on it's own. It would be nice to hear some technical specs on how Savage managed to cost cut on the bolt manufacturing. I'd also wager to say that the stock feels pretty cheap, moreso than the Stevens line even.
God damn it, Savage.
I would have overlooked the aesthetics of you made a good budget LH rifle.
Here's a review:

I'll go look it up on Facebook. They explained the nitty-gritty on how they saved the coins. IIRC, there is no more free-floating bolthead.
My recent quotes for most common calibers, from our site supporters, place the Savage 11/111FLNS at a couple bucks under seven hundred. How much cheaper were you hoping to get a left-hand rifle?
He gives it a good review BUT its still UGLY
I don't think gunblast has give a poor review to anything.
The Edge is $95 less than the Mossberg ATR, and priced about the same as a Remington 770, but so far, I am not impressed with that rifle.
I must be crazy, but I like the look of this rifle.
