The new Tikka T1X Rimfire

I am very interested in this, There is so much to look into and Shot Show is not here yet.
Kriss Defiance DMK 22C LVOA, Ruger Precision Rimfire, & Now the Tikka. Soon we will be looking at the CZ 457 rimfires as well, Good times.

I can't see the receiver not being drilled and tapped. Are czs not? Only 5/8" tip off rings still?

I don't recall that Sako Finnfire II receivers are drilled and tapped either. I wouldn't be surprised if they are dovetail grooved only. While Anschutz has offered D&T alternatives on some sporter models, European rimfire manufacturers don't seem to share the North American enthusiasm for Weaver/Picatinny mounting systems.

msrp is only a misguidance. tikka rimfires never had great sales figures in the past. They should not sell over $600

I don't think Tikka has ever made a rimfire before. Sako does(Finnfire) but they run $1400 and up from what I have read. Mine was $1000 used. Hopefully the Tikka won't have extraction issues like the Sako does.

Put me down for a stainless 22. And folks on Sniper's Hide are already egging KRG to produce a Bravo stock for it for Rimfire PRS.

On our end, I'd say it would be nice if MDT does a stock :)
