The new Winchester M70

I believe the term "bone stock" refers to the rifle itself, not just for winchesters. It means that the rifle is stock just like it come from the factory with no upgrades or modifications. Although I could be wrong.

Thanks Slick39. I'll go with that until I hear different.

Winchester is now owned by FN, so yes FN does make all of the new M70s. However they are all still made in the USA, in Columbia, South Carolina.

I have a Winchester M70 Ultimate Shadow in .243. I'm not the best shot in the world but this rifle is accurate. I like the controlled feed.............works great!

I have a new fn featherweight blued/walnut in 7mm-08. I bought it to have something lighter to carry for the days Im walking allot. I like the crf, my bolt closes on a chambered round with ease.

here is my M70 FWT in .270....awesome rifle... it currently carries a Bushnell Trophy XLT DOA 600 3x9x40 scope on it

Well had the ultimate shadow out shooting and it is a dream. Felt recoil not much more than my 7mm with the decelerator pad that Winchester uses. Looking forward to that first elk :)
