the "new" Winchester wildcat .22 rifle

was flipping through the new sir catalouge and noticed winchester is selling a new bolt action.22 rifle called the wildcat. i read a blurb about it in a magazine a while back said it was imported from russia. looks like a regular toz-78 to me, except they are charging $250 for it.

TOZ 78 shoot better than a lot of shooters. The wildcat indeed has a very nice stock and $250 is not that much.

It's kind of funny... I was talking about that gun with some other shooters, last year when Armrus was selling them for less $$ they all thought that Russian guns were junk... Now that Winchester is selling them for more $$, they think the gun as some good potential!

Yep but the most interesting part is a lot of people bought that gun while Armus sold them for $100 and they love it. I didn't get one because I only like single shot but a club member has one and shoot very tight group at 50 yards with dyna point. quite a nice shooting iron except the ugly mag.
