Picked it up for $1000 from a buddy who is simplifying.
 
So, some more details for you nutz out there.

Stripping it down I have found

TRW trigger group.
Springfield op rod, late style (-2)
Springfield Armory forged bolt
Springfield Armory commercial standard weight barrel
1.6320 headspace using Forster gauges

Well, took my old eyes to the range. Probably need to get another eye checkup as I really can't see the targets very well, plus I neglected to take any optics for spotting, which meant a 100 yard walk to check my targets. So now that I have excused my crappy shooting :) here it is.

First target, 100 yards, 4 shots.

Next target I adjusted the windage the wrong way, turning it right two clicks instead of left.

At this point I decided to come back when I have a spotting scope. I fired a total of 18 rounds.

I am also picking up a spring guide from M14Doctor and so will do two runs, first stock and then with the new spring guide.
