even a change of government occurs (which will not happen for at least another 3-ish years) a change of policy won't occur, because we are minority and easy targets. No politicians want to take any risks to reverse this policy.

I can tell you that according to Google’s stats, search traffic alone is about triple to quadruple the normal rate (depending on query) for across Canada currently.
