The reality is though they're all liars. The last time I bothered to vote it cost me $8500 ala the Harper income trust platform promise lie(if that had been pulled off in the private sector with the way the info was obviously leaked there would've been life sentences handed out left and right). Is this issue worth showing up for.... possibly. I'm to the point where I'm starting to think they're all truly psychopaths and and there isn't one who should be in a position of "governance", but what's the alternative? Moving is tough but it's getting more and more tempting. Life is good in Canada but when law abiding basic freedoms are threatened with removal for no good reasons it's sure discouraging. So "conservative" this round do we get one or at most two more sessions before defeat is final. The future does not look rosy and life is too easy for the liberals. The ratcheting to the left can only lead to a collapse in the next generation or two. The system seems rigged and I wonder how my kids are going to navigate it. It's ugly on either side extreme of the pendulum swing.
right on.
Not anti PPC. Nor pro CPC.
I just don’t want to punish a party that didn’t do enough the last time they were in power by ushering in a party that will do A LOT AGAINST US.
Keep in mind that the conservatives scrapped the long gun registry, simplified the ATT process, reclassified the 858 ro NR and made it easier to move around with our restricted to certain places.
The PPC might promise you the moon. They know they won’t win. So they can promise 0% taxes, NR AK 47’s and boat loads of virgins to go around. They won’t have to do anything as they won’t win.
The LPC on the other hand promised to take away our guns, pay us back pennies on the dollar (using OUR TAX $$) and treat us like 2nd class citizens. Hell even the gang bangers seem to be in a better position than we are with them. I guess we are from the wrong background, colour or religion for them to give a crap about us.
So bottom line is any vote for any party other than the CPC in this election is a vote for the liberals. They will win. They will take our guns. And they will treat us like criminals.
Turf the turd and vote CPC on October 21st. There is no other choice.
I'm hoping to help swing two seats in Winnipeg this year. The CPC candidate in my area lost to the NDP in 2015 by a couple hundred votes, so I'm volunteering for him. Also, my wife is working for an NDP candidate downtown Winnipeg who has a good opportunity to unseat the incumbent liberal. This might not add a seat to the CPC, but at least it takes one away from the LPC.
