I must have been sleeping can you explain ?

Even before the VZ58S came in, there was so much talk, people complaining on so sayings, stiring up ####.... that Marstar decided then they would not do pre-orders anymore

i got lucky lastmonth by getting mine from dark. i preordered/paid my m305 from another dealer last november. up to now i'm still waiting, this is what i call mental torture. then i thought of dark int. luckilly his got one. i will wait patiently no choice...........

just called marstar a few hours ago, i was told by that girl that the shipment of m305 rifle in 3 weeks. i hope this is realiable bec. we're all dying to get our rifles. also, i paid in advanced and i got all the parts waiting/rusting in my safe.......

Does Marstar do pre-odering? I am getting kind of nervous that I may not get one with all that is being said. If they do accept preorders, and I preorder one I am guaranteed one from this shipment right?

Marstar does not pre-order. Too many things that can go wrong and shipping is a huge PITA. Call and ask to be placed on a back order list - usually it is Mike that will confirm you want a rifle.

When the rifles come in, they call all the people on the list to confirm the sale - if no, no problem - if you buy you get what you ordered in a timely manner. Betweeen dealers and customers I'd guess that the shipment is usually sold out before it arrives.

Check to make sure you are calling between 8am and 4 pm EST. Excluding lunch... also if all the lines are busy, you will receive the never-ending ring.
Hang up and try again.
Maybe they will be able to expand the number of lines in the future... but that would cost more $$$ also.
More overhead = more expensive merchandise.
Half of one, six of the other...

Why not get one from Dark even after the Marstar shippment gets in?
I just checked his site and it comes with three mags for 43$ more than Marstar!
From what I have heard, he also gives great service regarding troubled guns.
Not sure if he covers the shipping though.

I got Al's last rifle, waiting for it to arrive. I forked out 499. plus tax and shipping with a very large smile on my face hehehe.

I got mine from a fellow Gun Nut, but have not had a chance to shoot it yet! (too cold). I have to pickup some ammo somewhere first, maybe when I go to the gun show in Kamloops. I am still hoping to get a new one when the slow boat gets here, but I think I will just keep that one new and customize it when time and money permits.
