Yep, TAN's are long gone. Dealers don;t even have to get the CFC to call you up. Onus is on the vendor to confirm the ID of the purchaser, the CFC takes their word for it if they have a vendor's license.

Next thing you know, the Mailman will be at the door with a big chinese cardboard box.

My visa not billed yet. I just sent an email to add something to my order. Hopefully they will read it in time.

Never been called by CFC for anything in my life...

I would suggest calling them right away...e-mail has proven to be less then effective...
 
The postman arrived with a long package marked Norinco M-14 this afternoon. As a goodwill gesture Marstar have thrown in a cleaning kit and a sling to make up for the long wait.

Also I thought that they did not come with a case?

So I take it that you got a case with yours?
 
Spoke to them this afternoon. They said they have been sending out the single rifle orders. The multiple gun orders should be starting to go out next week. They also said the cleaning kit was free because we had to wait so long. I think that's pretty good of them.

Yup, I was pleasantly surprised. That said unless the cleaning kit is in the stock, it may not be present. I did not have time to play with the M305 today as I am working tonight and I am typing this as I eat my dinner/breakfast. I put a trigger lock on the beast and threw it in the safe.

I am surprised that my order was processed as quickly as it was as I ordered when John said the container was on the boat. I did phone the order through rather that email.

Has anyone else received anything from Fred's or are there still issues there?
 
Now the packages are working their way West, I would imagine. Wish I had a tracking number so I could follow it from Vankleek Hill to Ottawa to Mississauga to Richmond to Victoria to my door :)
 
TO ALL;
Marstar completes the entire transfer process, you will not hear from the CFC unless we cannot match your information to that on the computer.

Marstar NEVER bills a client's card unles the order is complete and ready to process (Transfer etc).

We received the container last Saturday, began registering on Monday and continue to do so, will likely take untill the end of next week to finish.

We began processing the oldest back orders Monday afternoon....

We shipped out the first truck load of rifles Wednesday....

The second Canada Post truck load left today (Friday)....

Yes we have begun processing Norinco pistol orders as well....

YES we are once again sold out of the M-14s, we only had a few hundred in this shipment.... Another container being made ready....

I ordered 2 and i am away wednesday and thursday.... that means that i will have to wait until Friday to get mine.......

I hope mine are good...... straight shooters.... nice finish..... the rest I can take care of.....

plan to chop one into a carbine and mod the other up for long range shots.....

just need to figure it all out....

someone was saying the dish washer.... honestly??? I am a faithful guy and all but that sounds just plain wrong to me.

No way!! We get a free sling and cleaning kit???

I hope that's true cuz that would be sweeeeeeeet! A sling was one of the things on my order, and was considering getting the cleaning kit to keep in the butt stock.

Can anyone confirm this? Or is it just for a certain number of people?
