the official "next M305 shipment arrival" thread

I'm in AB and called for an update on my order. Orders with other firearms (lever shotgun in my case) are second to ship behind orders with just M305's. Was told mine could be up to two weeks away...

I'm in ontario... and with my Father in-law dying and my having to attend to my mother in law I never did get around to calling to follow up on the 3 I ordered and my credit card has not yet been charged... So I guess my email order was never processed...

Ya know it sucks... I ordered brass a while ago from them and to make to order a reasonable size added some 223 to it .. I needed the 357 sig and wouldn't you know it they only shipped the 223.... Web site said the 357 sig was in stock....

The cremation is tomorrow and then I'm heading home..

I'm in Vancouver and mine showed up on Tuesday.

After cleaning the Chu wood stock, it came out quite nice :cool:

OK, a Boyd's Pepper Laminate stock *may* have shown up the same day....

Only issue is that the barrel is "slightly" twisted. Can anyone recommend someone in Vancouver to re-index it??

mostly its because im a poor student (a university student who owns firearms?? i know, im a minority) and because i have very little experience with firearms i dont know enough to tinker with it to put replacement parts in it.

its just gonna be a paper puncher. anyone think ill have any problems leaving it plain jane and using for fun?

nothing wrong with that of course, but later when you get to an experienced shooter, you'll want to re-vamp it... still should fire great just stock though!!!

only thing I would really really really press you to change up on it is the return-buffer spring and the guide rod... it's not expensive at all to do this... everything else is just gravy!!!
 
Something tells me the time is right for Hungry to consider another M-14 clinic. You could then index your own barrels if required.

We've brought in extra stainless op rod spring guides, synthetic op rod buffers, and scope mounts to meet the high demand for these accessories.

If you've already phoned in your M-14S (and/or 'other Norinco product') order please be patient. We've been working overtime to get everyone's stuff out as quickly as possible and ask one favour in return: please don't call to inquire about the status of your order if you already know we're going to send you stuff out of our Norinco shipment.

The less time our warehouse staff spend talking on the phone and sifting through the large stack of orders, the more time they spend packing and shipping your guns to you :cool:

My "M-14 .308 Norinco" arrived (nicer darker Chu wood stock than the last one too!) One question though: the sight on mine came way offset. Is this an indication of barrel indexing issues, or did it just get banged around during shipping?
 
THE NEXT SHIPMENT OF M-305s;
I was advised today that our next shipment is being made ready....
All things being equal it should leave China shortly.
