The official "what I bought instead of an M10X" thread lol

Its my last semester at university, so I haven't bought anything... But I can give a list of things I want to buy instead of the m10x once I get a real job next year...

Blc 102.

Vz58 (the Canadian one, whatever its called... Wr762 or something?)

Mac Def slr and a cheap AR as a parts kit.

Savage Rascal.

A new hunting rifle, something light weight likely in 7mm08 (maybe 280, i wouldn't want to sell my 270 if I got a 7mm08 but it would be entirely redundant with a 280)

A medium bore hunting rifle (9.3x62 probably, maybe a 35 Whelen or similar)

Bought a new plate carrier :D

and thank you DILLIGAF for the fast answer. Looks like I'll have to buy this one and compare it to my JPC Crye Precision. The ''looser'' will be on sale shortly after :p

You can get 20% off this weekend on it (i had a 25% off coupon) , shipping to Canada is only 20$

Now that I've done enough poking and prodding of Wolverine Supplies and Robinson Armament, it'll be XCR-L barrel in 6.5 Grendel and XCR-M barrel in 260 Remington. Hopefully not that long now after pushing for 6 months. I'm in a holding pattern on the SLR or MV-S, but I think I would lean more toward a custom build on the MV-S.

Well F! me ... I just bought my third SR9 - maybe I'll manage to keep this one.

I'm going to EE my SR9 and 5 mags as soon as I can find some time... I tried to like it 3 times, shot 100 rounds each trip, and it's accurate, reliable, easy to shoot, but I just hate the trigger. There is no indication when it's going to fire.... just a long creep and BANG!

^All the same (not stainless) . . . I've just swapped it out for different things and I keep coming back to it. Accurate, reliable and easy to shoot as Hitzy says. I don't mind all the safety's, I've never had a problem with them, and the trigger is just fine for me. It fits so well, I can jerk, yank, slap or slop all over the trigger and sight alignment still doesn't move.

Is there an apex trigger kit for it? Did wonders for the SD9VE
