The OIC has hit milsurps

What about Mas36/51 or Yugo SKS's? Do those fall under the 20mm ban due to the addition of the grenade launchers? I'm not sure if I'm reading it right.

I wouldn't give them ideas Sharps...

Exactly. People need to stop calling out specific firearms, it’s a disservice to our community. If you think that certain elements of the Liberal administration are not familiar with CGN you are gravely mistaken. We need to stop giving them ideas.

The legislation has been directly linked in multiple threads. Stop being lazy and go read it. If you don’t see a particular firearm on the list, be happy and remain quiet.... yeeeesh

"The legislation has been directly linked in multiple threads."

Yep, comments about just turning AR-15 lowers the last few weeks and bingo now uppers have to be turned in also. Coincidence I think not!

It seems like that Yugo SKS grenade launcher adapter can be removed by punching out a pin and unscrewing it.. and then there's metric 14x1 RH thread there, so a muzzle break can probably be attached to the rifle instead. Can something removable be considered a part of the 'bore'? And I wonder what's that adapter internal diameter? It is measured 22mm outside, but not sure about inside. If it is less than 20mm, then it's OK. For now, at least.

M1a is on the list.....all those expensive sprinfield garrands prohibitted. Liberal Monsters and Thieves....

Yeah you can take the mas one off with a screw but it looks hella ugly and probably throws off barrel harmonics

It was a real dictator move. Makes you wonder if he is really Castro’s son.......

No ... he is his old man's son ... Trudeau the Elder gave us a 'Charter of Rights' with NO right of property...it was identified and challenged at the time but we were told not to worry about it as no Canadian government would ever dare to seize private property. Junior is just exploiting it.

I wonder how many Canadians understand the significance of what is really going on .. and the disgraceful and dangerous precedent this sets for every Canadian and the restriction it ultimately imposes on their freedom. Unchallenged prohibition of private property and/or confiscation will not end with firearms once it has been allowed to become an enshrined option for our masters. If this is allowed to stand .. shame on us.

This is a ####ing tragedy. I won’t one of the most expensive on the list. They can blow me though, short of paying me every last cent, I won’t give it up. I’ll grandfather it or id rather donate to a museum as a FU

It is useless sitting in the safe and not being able to take it to the range. You will see how frustrating and sad this really is BUT you still have it and the firearm is no longer able to assault anyone.

Lots of mortars on that list.I didn't know they were that popular.Any guesses to how many are out there?

I guess posting jokes with fire cards for Rohxam Rd was noticed.

Beyond securing his urban base, Trudeau is also playing to the UN and its firearms agenda. He wants a seat on the UN Security Council and gun control plays big on the UN agenda. The UN is a failed organization which is long overdue for reform. I did 7 UN tours and refuse to wear a blue beret anymore.

This might be the most absurd part of the legislation. Have these anti- material guns ever been used in a crime? Not sure how they came up with this. What a tragedy it would be to see these historic peices lost.

Agreed, but it plays well in Toronto.

Average citizen stoked up on Liberal fear mongering: "So. Like. Who needs a cannon. Must be compensating for what he's lacking."

Truth: lovingly restored artefact, maybe only one of very few in existence and worth tens of thousands of dollars held as a piece of history by a devoted historian.

No matter, the guv will give that historian a thousand bucks, send it to the smelter and call it a day.

These are 8mm. How did they get on the list?

People have become fixated on the 20mm/10kJ issue, which I think is a red herring. I suspect someone had a book on ww2 anti tank rifles, and just added everything to the list. Much as the Assault Weapons book back in the 1980s was used to build the first California list, which the Feds here then used. The fact no one has made ammo for some of the pzb guns in 75 years is irrelevant. Then again, lets remember the GSG 16 / MP5 and Ruger 47 foolishness.

Because too many people voted Liberal in 2015 and 2019, and I'm not being facetious.

Please pare this down to the basics. The Liberals WILL take your guns, incl your beloved MILSURPs. The Conservatives WILL NOT. This has been the pattern and the plan for the last 50 years and its moving along incrementally.:rey2 The only solution is direct political action; join the CPC, donate to the CPC, work for the CPC come election time, and for God's sake vote.
