Can you imagine a big moose or bear getting slapped with one of these?

A 225 gr grain Inner Belted soft point.

They were the cat's pajamas for guides and outfitters more than 70 years ago. Found a couple in my stash while preparing to head up to the range and check the sighting of my rifle.

Talk about FUDD!

Ted, can you shoot those over a chronograph, to see just what puny ammunition we used to have?

Ahhhh the 300 H&H, like the 375 H&H are in a class all to themselves. Newer stuff, and I have plenty still don't kill any faster or deader.

Perhaps the inner belted was the forerunner of Remington's Corelokt

CLASSIC! I had one a few years back in Rem 700 classic, and like an IDIOT, I sold it. Anyone has one and wants to part with it, I will give her a great home.

Douglas, c-fbmi, had a bunch of Classics for sale in the EE, and I believe one was a .300 H&H... take a look.

Actually SC and Looky it's FUDD warmies............................Laugh2

Boomer.........there is no point of reference, you are correct, and spelled correctly..........he must be having an epiphany...........or the flu.........or his 'Lookanese generator is broke.

Wonder if that was the bullet that inspired Nosler to build the Partition. I don't remember if any of the articles I have seen about that, ever said what he was actually using for a bullet at the time. It was a 300mag though.
