I couple of years ago I gave up hunting. The BS of trying to find a decent spot with all the land I used to go to getting posted and the frantic running around of everyday life just took the fun out of it.
This year I picked up a savage muzzle loader off this forum ( Thanks Bill B.)
Sighted her in and managed to get my arse out to the woods for the long weekend and go out with a good friend.
Both of us filled our doe tags and almost filled a buck tag too. We also managed to pick up a few ruffies. Hell I even made a great offhand 150 yds shot on my deer with the Savage (great for me anyway
routine for most of you guys )
I know it would of been more dramatic to bring home a Booner but maybe that might happen one of these days because The old urge is back
