As I noted elsewhere, I have a Model 12 Winchester pump. Its a combo of a 1929 barrel assembly and a 1975 receiver assembly. It shoots fine, but it has considerable trouble ejecting and some trouble loading - wont spit the shell out fast enough too often, and sometimes wont load the fresh round.
Has anyone built/rebuilt the Model 12, and what can be reasonably expected from the gun? I do love the feel of the action, and the gun itself reminds me a lot of a certain old computer game involving a moon base and a lot of evil zombie things. Thoughts?
