The PCV .50 Beowulf Magazine are back in stock at High Caliber.

I have a couple of these, can you disassemble them? does the floor plate come off? If so, how?

Yes these mags can be disassembled for cleaning. Catch the thin edge of the floor plate against the edge of a table or corner and pound down with your fist on the back spine of the magazine. The base plate slides off towards the rear of the mag. There are no clips or retaining pins, they just slide off albeit tight. You can then remove the spring and the follower will drop out.

you both beat me to it. No, not the best ever, but no where near the worst magazines in the world or anything like that. Would I use them if my families lives depend on it? No, but if that happened, I am pretty sure it wouldn't matter if that little rivet was in the regular 30 rounders

Yeah the mag still only holds 5 rounds of the cartridge for which it was designed (.50 Beo) so it's not in any way prohibited, regardless what firearm it's used in (or modified to use in)

It would need the same sanding to work in a .50 Beo AR as the magwells are all mil spec? Just a thought

No, the T97's are known to have tighter magwells.

Out of curiosity, would someone be able to copy and paste the part of the firearms act that talks about magazine modification. I cant seem to find it. (And not the part about modifying magazines to hold less rounds through the use of pin etc.)

its not a prohibited device now. just tweaking a mass produced part to fit another mass produced part. no changes of intent, no changes of capacity, no changes of cartridge type, not making it work with a prohib round, or in a prohib firearm.
